Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms
Considering all the snow we’ve had it was an amazing, much warmer end to the week! Dare I say spring is on the way?
Did you notice the days are a bit longer and the air is getting warmer where you live too?
With the amount of snow and ice we had, the warmth is starting to melt everything.
The other night while we were sleeping, we heard a huge bang on the roof above our heads. It was so scary! I thought a tree fell on the house, but apparently it was the snow and ice falling off the roof.
How crazy is that?

I went thrifting with the gals this week again. This time I visited another favorite local shop here on Main Street called Chester Country Furnishings.
I duck in there every now and again to see what they have and I found these awesome lamps that I think I’m going to go back and get for a bedroom makeover I am about to undertake.
Aren’t they gorgeous?

We made some progress on the fireplace surround in the basement that I told you about last week. Chris finished the framing on Sunday and this weekend, he sheet rocked it.
So far so good!
I can’t wait to show you how we are finishing it off!

What’s Happening at Bricks ‘n Blooms
I’ve had a busy week on the blog and shared quite a bit, so here’s a run-down in case you missed anything.
I shared my spring garden and home decor haul. You should see some of the garden supplies I got for a real bargain. I wound up getting extras because the deals were too good to pass up!

Near the end of this week, I started my first set of seeds! I’m pulling all the content together now as we speak, but my sweat peas are currently in the basement on heat mats under the lights! I should have the blog for you next week!

At the end of every month, some of my best blogging friends and I are getting together to do a virtual supper club. If you recall, last month we celebrated Galentine’s Day with a gorgeous table and brunch menu.
This month, it is all about Saint Patrick’s Day! Wait until you see the gorgeous green and white table decor ideas!

The dinner menu is even better. This month, I was in charge of the appetizer and seriously, it is the best app you’ll ever have!
I made this fondue recipe. It is super easy to make, is a total crowd pleaser and you can make it as healthy (or not healthy) as you want!
And in case you are on Instagram or Tik Tok, check out the short video we made to celebrate our tables. It is super cute!
I also added another video to my YouTube Channel this week. If you are missing time in the garden as much as I am, come tour ALL of my gardens in May 2020.
It looked so pretty! I can’t even wait for the next growing season.
