In the Garden

Still planting!!! I got a few more shrubs and small trees in the cottage garden, added more raised bed soil and compost to some of the beds so I can start planting spring flowering bulbs this week.

And then I am wrapping things up for the season outdoors. Cause this girl has done ALOT in the gardens this fall! Things will look much differently next year and I am super excited to see it all come together.

Here are a few pics from the gardens this week.

Weekend Fun

My daughter Tori was home for the weekend so we went out to dinner with her on Friday night. It was so fun having her around given my kids are essentially out of the nest now!

My sister-in-law also came over for pizza night. We whipped up a bunch of pizzas and enjoyed some college football while the weather is still seasonable.

Chris and I are going to the Giants game today. Let’s hope we get a win!

My Latest Video

It’s the final garden tour of the season! We haven’t had a frost yet, which means the cottage garden is putting on one last, glorious show. Join me for a peaceful walk-through and a final look at the major changes I made to my front porch garden this year.

This late October garden tour is a “before” view—it’s what’s still thriving before I finally have to break out the shovels and start the winterizing garden process, including digging and dividing perennials and planting spring bulbs. Come enjoy the beautiful blooms and foliage while they last!
