Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms

It was a gorgeous week here in New Jersey! The weather was a little up and down with the temps and we had a frost, but everything made it through ok and hopefully, we are smooth sailing now!

The gardens are looking SO GORGEOUS! I love watching all the pretty plants grow and bloom in early spring.

We got the closet organization system installed and almost everything put away. There are still a few things I need to get to finish it off.

But let me tell you, this closet organization system is really awesome and very well made!

I can’t wait to show you guys the full reveal.

But first, it needs an area rug, new light and a window treatment.

Closet Makeover
It took me two days to move us back in! And there are still some things we need to get but doesn’t it look great so far!

In addition to the closet, we started on the attic renovation this week. So far, the framing is up, and the electrical and AC were installed.

Now, we wait for the inspections before closing everything up.

So this week it will be a little quieter around here.

I’ll share some pics of it next week.

Yesterday, we finished assembling all of the self-watering raised vegetable garden beds.

And I started filling them with soil and added some pea gravel around the beds.

It was hard work, but a great workout!

If you’ve been following along with my virtual dinner group, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo this week with some festive table decor and an amazing dinner menu.

It’s so neat to see how each of us decorated our tables so differently?

I tried to get my dogs to model the cut sombrero headbands but they weren’t having it.

Bodie indulged me for about 2 minutes with this sombrero.

I was in charge of the dessert this month, and let me tell you – this will be your new favorite dessert!

So yum!

To celebrate our dinner menu, we shared a fun reel on Instagram and Tik Tok.

Did you see it?

I love how it turned out.

We had some gorgeous sunsets this week too.

My flowers look so pretty during the golden hour.

So of course, I had to run around and snap some photos.
