Hosting a large Thanksgiving this year?

I am so NOT a fan of using folding tables to extend our dining table to accommodate everyone.

The legs are wobbly, the tables are different sizes and it never looks quite right.

To address this problem, we made this DIY tabletop a few years ago and it has worked out great!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love to set a pretty table.

The theme for my Thanksgiving table will be simple, cozy and neutral for 2021.

So I just ordered THESE napkins.

I have a few neutral linen napkins, but wanted the extra details on the edging to add a little more texture.

Since we are using our DIY Tabletop, I just ordered THIS tablecloth.

It’s so pretty right?

But I don’t know – I might go with THIS ONE instead.

I could leave the tabletop exposed but prefer to use a tablecoth on the DIY tabletop.

I’m also planning to use THESE again as the chargers.

It’s funny, I own a few options for chargers but gravitate to these with almost every tablescape, so I’m just going to assume I’m using them again.

LOL!

We may have a larger crowd here than usual, so I may go with THESE instead of my Lenox or Everyday dinnerware.

My Forever 49th birthday is the day before Thanksgiving, so I’m planning on hosting a big crowd to celebrate!

THESE are great for larger crowds because they are reusable, light and heavy duty enough for Thanksgiving dinner.

And with a larger crowd, I’m going to need to keep dishes warm while we cook and reheat dishes.

I love THIS and will continue to get a lot of use out of it after Thanksgiving.
