Supper Club
We’ve been having a great time with our supper club and this month we are celebrating the holidays with a festive brunch.
Whether you are hosting family or friends during the holiday season, we are sharing lots of pretty Christmas table centerpieces and decorating ideas.
And I’m hosting this month’s gathering in my dining room that you’ve got to see all decked out for the holidays.
If you are coming from my good friend Pasha’s from Pasha is Home, welcome to my home. And I’m thrilled you dropped by!
In case you are new here, I’m Stacy, a self-taught master gardener who lives and gardens in northern New Jersey, zone 6a.
We recently moved to a beautiful 1850 Farmhouse with 10 acres of gardens, sculptures and statues.
I’ve been gardening for over 20 years and enjoy helping beginner gardeners find their inner green thumb, as well as discover a love for all things plants and flowers. I love to bring the outdoors inside my home too.
I hope you enjoy visiting my home today and hope you come back so we can grow stuff and create beautiful spaces together.

The Prettiest Christmas Table Centerpiece and Decor Ideas for the Dining Room
To decorate the dining table for Christmas brunch, I focused on neutral colors, rustic metals, and earthy colors.
The overall look started with a cozy warm white tablecloth that I layered with a jute table runner and an airy warm white table runner on top.
DIY Christmas Table Centerpiece: A Set-and-Forget Approach
But that centerpiece is the thrill of the table.
I found these GORGEOUS faux poinsettias at my local nursery last week.
Let me tell you, I searched high and low online and found nothing as realistic as these pretty beauties.
Of course, you can use live poinsettias too, but I wanted to decorate with a set-and-forget centerpiece for the season in this space.
While beautiful, live poinsettias are a little more work. I wanted something easier to use as a centerpiece on my table that would last through the holidays without any effort from me!

And one of the easiest ways to decorate the dining room is with a beautiful centerpiece. If you do nothing else, that centerpiece will make the dining space feel festive and cozy.
And this poinsettia centerpiece does the trick!
It was really easy to pull together too.
I started with some green floral foam to anchor the faux Christmas greenery in the base of the gold ice bucket.

That’s right, I’m using an ice bucket for the vessel!
To support the large poinsettia flowers, I went around the base of the bucket with small branches of winter greens.
Since the stems of my poinsettias were long, I bent them and nested them inside the bucket.
To add some texture and dimension, I tucked in some gold branches and glittery swirls. That’s the best way to describe them.

Christmas Table Setting Ideas
Since my personal style infuses a cottagecore approach with a farmhouse feel, the table settings needed to reflect that style and create a cohesive look.
Each place setting is layered with this gorgeous cedar branch placemat, a gold charger, a neutral Lenox dinner and salad plate, these beautiful gold linen napkins, and a miniature wreath.
To hold the cutlery, I love these adorable pouches, don’t you?
They are a unique way to pull the look together while adding more decorative elements to the table.

And for extra bling, I used my grandmother’s lead crystal wine and water goblets.
Of course, we’ve got to set a mood with lighting.
And while I’ve got that stunning chandelier to start with, I love to add taper candles in these vintage candlestick holders, simple votives, and these mini lanterns to make the dining space feel cozier.

So what do you think? Aren’t those poinsettias amazing?
I wish I could find them online but great-looking faux poinsettias are hard to come by.
