Hi there!

I hope you had an amazing week!

It was a chilly week here. So much so, I did not want to do a thing in the garage with seeding for my cutting garden. Therefore, that is on pause until later this week when things warm up a bit.

I pulled my caladiums, elephant ears, begonias, and geraniums out of storage and started feeding them to get them growing for the 2025 season. This is the first time I’m doing this in the cottage and not in my home, so we’ll see how that works out this year.

The light isn’t as great in there but I don’t have much of an option this year. With my houseplants and new puppy Gus, I just don’t have the space to bring them inside my home this year. I think they’ll be fine, but time will tell. I’ll keep you posted.

Week 3 With Our New Puppy, Gus!

Ok the 4:30AM wakeup calls are getting a bit passe but our little gus is starting to get the hang of things! I’ve been able to push him back until about 5:30 but the struggle is real. It is like having an infant in the house again!

He’s doing really well with crate training though. Goes right in and chills so let’s check that one off the list as a success.
