Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms
And just like last week, we got more snow. It wasn’t as much as the week before but we got enough!
Since we had a few good snow days, we started a new DIY project in the basement. We are renovating an electric fireplace we bought a few years ago by making it look more like a built in. There’s not much to show yet, but it’s going to look great when it’s finished!
My daughter Tori had her first swim meet this year for the High School. It was a long time coming and I can’t tell you how happy she was to be able to swim and do her thing.
While it wasn’t the same for me watching from home, I am BEYOND grateful that our swim coaches, booster club, school administration and athletics department pulled a swim season together for these kids and set up a live feed for us to be able to “be there.”
Oh and because my daughter loves it so much when I cheer really loudly for her while she’s racing in the pool (not really but work with me on this one).
What’s Happening at Bricks ‘n Blooms
I’ve had a busy week on the blog and shared quite a bit, so here’s a run-down in case you missed anything.
After sharing my supplies to start seeds in my basement last weekend, lots of you had questions about how to I’m organizing myself to prepare to sow seeds.
So this week I shared 7 Simple Tips to Getting Organized Before Starting Seeds Indoors. And to help you get organized, I included a FREE downloadable printable to help you get organized.
Let me know what you think!
Speaking of starting seeds indoors, I am preparing to sow my first set of seeds in a few days! Sweet peas will be sown first and I am beyond excited to get started!
Also on the blog this week, I went thrifting near me with my friends from all over the country.
Did you see it?
This post was really fun to put together.
And the best part?
I shared my favorite local shop where I love to find cool vintage stuff. So in case you missed it, you can check it out HERE.
And while I’m dreaming of warmer days in the garden, I’ve been bringing the outdoors in with my faux spring greens and florals.
So I shared my favorite online sources for where to buy the best faux spring greens and florals. From tulips to peonies, ranunculas and magnolias, to gorgeous fronds of ferns, I’ve got you covered. CLICK HERE to see my spring must-haves this year.
