Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms

And just like last week, we got more snow. It wasn’t as much as the week before but we got enough!

Since we had a few good snow days, we started a new DIY project in the basement. We are renovating an electric fireplace we bought a few years ago by making it look more like a built in. There’s not much to show yet, but it’s going to look great when it’s finished!

My daughter Tori had her first swim meet this year for the High School. It was a long time coming and I can’t tell you how happy she was to be able to swim and do her thing.

While it wasn’t the same for me watching from home, I am BEYOND grateful that our swim coaches, booster club, school administration and athletics department pulled a swim season together for these kids and set up a live feed for us to be able to “be there.”

Oh and because my daughter loves it so much when I cheer really loudly for her while she’s racing in the pool (not really but work with me on this one).

GO TORI!!!!

Last season, Tori received the Team Spirit Award from her Coaches as a Freshman. I can’t understand where she gets it from.
