Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms
What a week it was!
We have been really busy unpacking and settling into our new home.
It’s been great so far.
My family is happy we moved and my dogs are feeling more settled as well.
I enjoy taking long walks around the property and seeing something new with every walk.

In fact, I’ve seen a few invasive plants here that I’ll need to deal with sooner than later.
Christmas was a little quieter than we were expecting this year.

With the rise in illnesses over the last week, we layed low and celebrated amongst ourselves.
I still made our annual Christmas Eve clambake and whipped up a baked ziti for Christmas Day.
It’s not the same as celebrating with extended family on a larger scale but we made it work!
The highlight of the holiday was spending a little bit of time with my nephew who was home visiting from the service.
We haven’t seen him since last Christmas so it was really nice to see him for a bit and catch up.

Because we just moved in last week, I decorated a little bit and shared the First Christmas in Our New Home Tour.
Wait until you see how pretty it looks!
And I was so busy packing up and moving over the last month, I hadn’t had a chance to publish my latest YouTube video sharing my former home all decorated for the holidays before I packed it all up.
I also shared a sneak peek of both inside and outside my new home!
