Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms

What a week it was!

WE MOVED!!!!

It was a crazy week here moving from one house to another.

moving day with movers and boxes

But we did it.

I felt strange watching the movers moving our things out of the house.

And it was super weird seeing it empty.

But we are in.

While we are still unpacking, our items look like they’re in pretty good shape so far.

I haven’t seen anything broken or damaged so I feel like we are winning there.

I love this porch swing don’t you?

Some of our family came to help us unload boxes and organize a little.

It’s been quite a journey, but we are enjoying our new home.

The former homeowners spent a lot of time making this home their home.

This blue heron greeted us by one of the ponds when we did our walk through the day before closing.

They took care of it really well.

And the artistry that they added to the house is really amazing.

We appreciate the amount of time and energy spent making this home what it is.

Isn’t this bench carved from a tree totally amazing???

I’ll take you on a tour of the inside next week.

But in the meantime, here are some photos of the gardens.

You’ve got to check out some of the short-form videos too because you’ll see a little more of what’s here.

There is so much to see here in the gardens and I can’t wait to add more flowers in spring.

Before I start tucking things in, I want to see what comes up.

Because the prior homeowners have a lot of plants here.

I plan to start flowers from seed again and have a large area where they can all be planted.

More on that after the holidays.
