Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms

What a week it was!

I finished decorating for fall in the gardens.

And I realized you can do a lot less planting with the more pumpkins you use around the beds.

True, they are at risk with the squirrels and my dogs getting to them, but so far, they all still look pretty good!

On a different note, Chris and I spent the weekend visiting with Shana at Ohio State.

We had a good time and can’t wait for her to come home for the holidays.

What’s Happening at Bricks ‘n Blooms

It was a fun week on the blog!

Earlier in the week, I shared 19 easy-to-find plants for fall garden containers together with my outdoor planter recipes for 2021.

I also shared my October fall garden tour on YouTube where I talked about fall plantings and what’s happening next to prepare for both winter and spring.

Wait until you see the beds and how my raised garden beds did this year!

And finally, I shared how to make the best compost recipe.

I’m often asked how I feed my plants and aside from my houseplants, annuals, and container gardens, I really focus on good healthy soil.

And adding compost is a huge component.

  1. Stacy,
You are so sweet to share my garland. I didn’t do a round up this week. To much going on, but I’ll get back to it.

  2. Your garden still looks so amazing Stacy! Thank you so much for sharing my geranium post. I appreciate it so much.
