Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms

We have spent the last few days celebrating my husband, Chris, in Vermont with the girls.

It’s been a great trip so far.

The weather was really pleasant.

So we did lots of hiking, boating, dining outdoors on the deck and hanging out in front of our fire pit.

We also enjoyed thrifting and antiquing at my favorite shops.

And stopped by one of our favorite restaurants for a delicious dinner.

Oh and we enjoyed THE BEST brunch at our favorite place, Dot’s Diner.

What’s Happening at Bricks ‘n Blooms

It was a busy week on the blog!

For starters, I shared a home tour of my outdoor living spaces.

Now that everything is planted and thriving, you’ve got to see how gorgeous it all looks.

And the best part?

I’m sharing my backyard oasis home tour with 29 talented home decor bloggers.

There’s something for every decorating style in this blog hop, so be sure to check out all the inspiration at the end of the post.

In addition to sharing my outdoor living spaces, I found some great stuff in Vermont this month while Thrifting with the Gals.

For those that are new to my blog, this is a thrifting and antiquing monthly blog series where my friends and I from around the country “get together” and go shopping.

It’s amazing to see how different the thrifting opportunities are around the nation.

Wait until you see what I found this month!

And finally, I shared some tips to landscaping for curb appeal.

Whether you are selling your home or just want to spruce it up, don’t miss these must-have ways to add value to your home.

Amazing Inspiration from Around the Web

I love finding cool inspiration from around the web and wanted to share some of what I’m loving right now.

My good friend Rachel from the Ponds Farmhouse found some super cool things while out thrifting with the gals this month.

I love her vintage decorating ideas and have learned so much from following her blog.

Wait until you see her finds!

I love how my friend Kim from Cottage in the Mitten mixes patterns and color in her summer home tour.

Her home is so cozy!
