Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms
It was another gorgeous week here in New Jersey! Hot but beautiful.
And since it didn’t rain much, now that it is the holiday weekend, we are getting DAYS of rain.
Which is good for the gardens, but not so much for the holiday weekend!
The gardens look so pretty now that more of my flowers are starting to bloom.
I’ll be sharing a garden tour later this week.
Wait until you see some of these flowers!
The attic renovation is chugging along. It’s fully painted, doorknobs were added and electric came back to finish.
The rug will be getting installed after Memorial Day.
And then it’s all about getting my office set up.
We spent some time at the lake this weekend before the rain settled in over the area.
I’m so glad we got one good lake day on the boat.
We even had a little lake adventure while we were out.
It was a quiet day with very few boats on the water.
When we came upon a boat that was shipwrecked ashore.
Their boat engine died and they got stuck on the rocks.
So we towed them in.

My virtual supper club got together to celebrate summer with a fun themed dinner party.
I shared some summer table decor and dinner party ideas HERE.
For this month’s theme, I was in charge of the side dish.
And it’s a good one because you can make it with fresh veggies from the garden or your local farm stand.
