What a week it was!

The Bulbs Are Planted!

I FINALLY got all the bulbs planted this week…all 2000 of them! It was a lot of work but thankfully, I had my auger to help drill the holes…fast! Next up, are my paperwhites and amaryllis! I’m potting all of them up tomorrow. I can’t wait to see them bloom!

My New Obsession

Now that we are moving indoors for the season, I have to tell you how obsessed I am with collecting plants now! I’m really interested in growing rare and unique foliage plants. But, I found a bunch that flower too. So I’m all about it!

I can’t wait to share more of my collection with you guys. The sunroom is no longer the sunroom – I rebranded it…the plant room and it is the place to be.

Because there are so many plants in the there now, the space holds the humidity from my humidifer so much more. And you can really feel it when you walk into the room. Which in the middle of winter will feel so good! I already love it and it’s my favorite room to be in.

The Formal Living Room Update

This room as finally gotten a makeover. It is lighter, brighter, and feels so much bigger now. Not to mention, you notice the marble fireplace and inlay wood floors so much more now. I really love it and I can’t wait to more more plants in here and style it a little better.

I’m planning to get a new area rug. While I LOVE the one I have, I really want to lean into green more like I did in some of the other spaces and lighten up the floor since the furniture is so dark. I’ve got my eye on a few options but need to narrow it down.

Because we’ve been in before and after mode here, I have not done a stitch of Christmas decorating yet. But it will begin the day after Thanksgiving. Luckily, I organized everything by room really well when we put it away last year, so it should go pretty quickly.
