Freshness Meets Creaminess

Picture this: you take a succulent, ripe peach, slice it open, and it instantly releases its sweet, mouthwatering aroma. Now, imagine pairing that deliciousness with the creamy dreaminess of burrata cheese – sounds heavenly, right?

Well, let me tell you, it totally is!

Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese, and it’s like a gift from the dairy gods, am I right? It’s made from mozzarella and cream, creating a luscious, buttery center that oozes out when you cut into it.

The combination of the silky, milky burrata and the juicy peach is a flavor explosion that will leave you floating on a cloud of culinary delight.

How Do You Eat Burrata?

I don’t know how often you’ve enjoyed burrata, but there are so many different ways to enjoy it! I love it with fresh tomatoes or peaches, but there are lots of other ways to make a dish with burrata.

Here are a few ideas.

  • Slice and Savor: Gently slice the burrata open allowing the creamy interior to spill out. You can enjoy it as it is, with a sprinkle of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
  • Spread on Bread: Burrata makes a fantastic spread for bread or crackers. Once you’ve cut open the cheese, use a spoon to scoop out the creamy center and spread it on a piece of crusty bread. Top it with your favorite ingredients like fresh tomatoes, basil, or a drizzle of olive oil for a delightful bruschetta-style treat.
  • Pair with Fresh Produce: The mild and creamy flavor of burrata complements a variety of fresh produce. Try it with ripe tomatoes, juicy peaches, sweet strawberries, or even figs for a burst of summery goodness.
  • Add to Salads: Burrata can elevate any salad to the next level. Toss torn pieces of cheese into a green salad for a luxurious and creamy touch. It pairs exceptionally well with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and a balsamic glaze.
  • Use in Pasta Dishes: For a heavenly pasta experience, stir chunks of burrata into warm pasta and watch it melt into a velvety sauce. Add some freshly ground black pepper and grated Parmesan for an indulgent pasta dish.
  • Incorporate into Pizza: Replace regular mozzarella on your pizza with burrata for an ooey-gooey, cheese lover’s dream.
  • Pair with Prosciutto: For a savory and decadent appetizer, serve burrata alongside slices of Prosciutto.
  • Get Creative: Be creative and use it as a filling for stuffed vegetables like roasted bell peppers or as a topping for grilled meats.

Keep in mind that burrata is best when it’s fresh, so try to consume it soon after purchase. Its delicate flavor and creamy texture are truly a culinary experience worth savoring.

Grilled Peach Burrata Bruschetta

Take your bruschetta game to a whole new level by topping grilled or toasted baguette slices with a mix of diced peaches, burrata, basil, a sprinkle of black pepper, and a drizzle of honey. This delightful appetizer will have your guests begging for the recipe!

But you can also make this recipe for flatbread pizza too, but swap in peaches and burrata. Oh, it’s so good!

Simply Divine Peach Burrata Crostini

For a quick and easy snack, toast some baguette slices, spread burrata on top, and crown it with a slice of peach. If you’re feeling fancy, you can add a drizzle of balsamic glaze or a sprinkle of crushed pistachios. It’s simple, yet utterly divine!
