Hi there!

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving week!

What a week it was!

I feel like it was a blur as my family and I spent a few days preparing to host Thanksgiving for almost 30 family members.

To make room for a traditional sit-down meal, we dismantled my office in the library to accommodate a larger dining space. We’ve been doing this for a few years now, but I think we’re getting it down to a science with a few Thanksgivings under our belt in our “new” home.

I bought a second folding table and extra chairs to seat 16 in the library and 10 in the dining room. And after setting it up, I decided we’ll go all in on two more folding tables and chairs so I can seat EVERYONE and then some in the library. So it will be epic in 2025!

Ready, Set…Decorate!

Since I had not done a stitch of decorating before Thanksgiving this year, I hit the ground running first thing Friday morning and really…have not stopped! I got a bulk of it done by late last night but theres still more to do. I’ll get it wrapped up today.

I decorated three trees, 4 rooms and feel pretty accomplished. I still have my front porch and planters to go. Have you started yet? I am wiped!
