Quick and Easy Spinach Salad Recipe

Are you looking for a super tasty and healthy salad? Wait until you try this quick and easy spinach salad recipe.

I love a good recipe where you can just dump and go, don’t you?

This shrimp scampi recipe was my grandmother’s.

And the best part?

You bake it!!!!

Or these Mexican stuffed peppers.

And this shrimp boil foil packet recipe. Like seriously, there’s no clean-up.

Spinach Salad

Sometimes I just want something light and simple to make for dinner. This spinach salad fits the bill because it has lots of good nutrients like iron and vitamin C.

Plus, I make it with yummy strawberries and fresh mozzarella.

As an aside, I love fresh mozzarella so anytime I can toss it in a recipe, I do!

Spinach Salad with a Twist

The beauty of this salad is you can swap out some of the ingredients for things you prefer.

Plus, you can add an additional protein if you want it to be more substantial.

I’ve made this spinach salad with chicken and shrimp, but you can also try other types of fish, turkey and even slices of meat.

My family loves this dish.

It’s been great on those nights where we are running from activity to the next.

And my dogs come running into the kitchen while I’m making it too.

Because they know they’ll get some strawberries.

And wait until you see the secret ingredient is in the dressing!

Spinach Salad Recipe
That’s right. Real maple syrup makes the dressing!

That’s right. Real maple syrup totally makes the dish!

I used to just make spinach salad with a basic balsamic vinaigrette.

But once we bought the Vermont cabin and started eating out up there.

Almost everything has real maple syrup in it.

And it is SO good!

It pairs really well with the vinaigrette and strawberries in this recipe.

Even adding just a dash enhances the flavor of this dressing.

So give it a try.

You’ll never go back to a balsamic vinaigrette without it!

This salad dressing shaker is MY FAVORITE. You can make as much as you want and store extras in the fridge to use for later. Such a great gadget!

Sorry you’ve cut away 1/3 of each luscious strawberry just to remove the hull. 😘.
