Random Things Happening Behind the Scenes at Bricks ‘n Blooms
It was a gorgeous week here in New Jersey! The weather has really warmed up and my plants are exploding from the ground.

And it was so nice that we got all the beds mulched! Don’t they look so pretty? I love when the beds are freshly mulched because the plants really pop.

Since the weather is warming up, I started hardening off my sweet peas and snapdragon seed starts. The sweet peas do not seem happy being indoors anymore, so I decided to move the out!
Although it is not time to plant them yet because we could still get frosts and very cold temps here, I am keeping a very close eye on them. They come in if the weather is a little too cold and are not outside overnight.
So far so good.

As an aside, I planted my sweet pea seeds at the 12-week mark when the range was 10-12 weeks. Next year, I will start them at 10 weeks so they are not inside for as long after germinating.
Switching gears, we’ve also been chugging away in our closet. Last weekend, we completely dismantled and unloaded it. The chaos of our closet spanning 2 bedrooms and a hallway has been fun but it is short-lived.
Because we finished painting the closet AND installed the closet organizers. So today, we’ll be loading everything back in.
It’s looking SO GOOD!

Oh and I almost forgot to mention. We are finally finishing our walk-up attic!
Guess who’s getting a home office??? ME!!! And I can’t wait!
More details to follow when we get started. But for now, it’s all about cleaning and purging the space.
What’s Happening at Bricks ‘n Blooms
It was a great week for the blog. We did some fun things here this week.
I’m starting to work on my porch and shared some front door wreath ideas for inspiration. I haven’t decided whether I’ll make or buy yet, but I love shopping around for inspiration, don’t you?

If you’ve been following along with my thrifting adventures on Instagram, I recapped a month’s worth of thrifting near me in one post.
Wait until you see the cool things I found and how different thrifting is in New Jersey versus New England. CLICK HERE to read the post.

And since I’m hard at work on my new vegetable garden, I shared how to start a new garden without breaking your back. If you want to start a garden the easy way, this is how you do it!

I shared a new video on my YouTube channel where we planted these GORGEOUS copper containers from H Potter. You’ve got to check them out because they are beautiful and really well made.

I will eventually put these planters out in my garden somewhere but for now, I’m going to enjoy them on my deck.
