Apple crisp for two made easy! This recipe is perfect for a date night, a quiet evening, or anytime you want a delicious dessert without the leftovers.
Chop apples. I like to use a corer peeler slicer to make thin slices and remove the skin as well.
Place apples in baking dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon and salt on apples.
Add water. No need to mix.
Mix flour, sugar and softened butter in separate bowl.
Crumble the flour mixture on top of the apples.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
I prefer to use granny smith apples but it's a personal preference.Since I prefer to remove the skin, I usually use the apple corer peeler and slicer because it is a quicker way to slice and cut up the apples. But you can just core and chop up the apples if that's easier.Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
