Heat 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil and 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar over medium heat.
Saute pear and onion until soft about 5-7 minutes.
Top toasted flatbread with caramelized pear and onions.
Top with some fresh arugula, fresh mozzarella balls, and walnuts (if desired)
Bake flatbread for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, add some fresh arugala, drizzle with balsamic glaze then add salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
Use half the arugula before baking and top it off with the rest after for a fresh look.You can make this recipe with feta instead of mozzarella, just add it after baking flatbread before serving.You don't need the walnuts if you don't want them. I prefer this dish without the crunch.
