Prepare the simple syrup. To make simply syrup, mix one cup of water and one cup of sugar on the stovetop. Heat until dissolved which takes roughly 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool before using.
Mix all ingredients (except carbonated beverage) together and refrigerate for 2 hours until flavors combine.
