Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 11×7 inch baking pan with parchment paper or non-stick cooking spray for easy removal.
In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy – about 5-7 minutes.
Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. And then beat in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl then gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate and butterscotch chips. Be careful not to overmix because this can make your blondies tough.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan and then bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. The edges should be golden brown
Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares because it will help them set up properly and keep them from falling apart.
