Start Searching! Look for pieces that genuinely interest you. Whether it’s vintage clothing, retro furniture, garden treasures, or other collectibles, passion fuels the hunt.

Set a Budget Set a budget for your antiquing adventures to avoid overspending.  Because I’ll be the first to tell, it’s not hard to spend more than you  want when you find a lot of cool stuff!

Bring cash  While some vendors may accept credit cards,  it’s always a good idea to have cash on hand. Smaller shops and vendors may not have card-processing capabilities, and having cash allows you to negotiate prices and make quick purchases.

Where to Shop Start your search at local antique stores, flea markets, estate sales,  and thrift shops. These places are often gold mines for beginners.

Keep an open mind  Whenever you go antiquing, you might find things you didn't think you needed! So think outside the box and keep an open mind as you wander through the market.
